Oil rises on NYMEX electronic trading

Prices of crude oil futures contracts rose in the U.S. electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange –NYMEX- on Tuesday, as the fears of crude supplies disruption increased, because of the rising tensions about the conflict between the West and Iran regarding its nuclear program.

By 00.46 GMT the price of U.S. light crude oil futures for April delivery reached 107.20 $ per barrel recording 48 cents up, after rising 2 cents  to 106.72 $ for the previous day settlement.

To be mentioned that no trading on Brent of crude oil blend contracts took place, after the rising of 15 cents to reach 123.80 dollars on the settlement of Monday
