Olmert Gets Fine, 1 Year Of Probation In Investment Center Case

The Jerusalem District Court sentenced former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to one year of probation and ordered him to pay a NIS 75,000 fine for breaching the public’s trust in the Investment Center case.

According to the court’s ruling, the State will not apply moral turpitude to the former prime minister. The decision was made after Olmert decided to waive a series of benefits he was entitled to as part of his position as a former head of state.
