On Less Energy Subsidies, Egypt’s Mobinil to adopt some price hikes

 Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (Mobinil) – (EMOB.CA) CEO Yves Gouthier revealed that increasing mobile services ‘sound and internet’ may be implement after what was circulated around boosting fuel prices between 50/100 penny.

The government announced earlier its intention to raise the subsidiary gradually for some materials and commodities that consumed the major part of support such as petroleum materials and fuel.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad Gouthier added that the petroleum and fuel materials seized the major rate to strengthen its network whether by operating the direct towers and providing alternative solutions to run other networks in case of cutting the electricity.

Mobinil requested previously to coordinate between National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and Misr Petroleum Company so as to provide separated line of fuel to mobile phone operators to ensure its share of mobile services.
