Oppenheimer nominated for 8 Golden Globes

Oppenheimer, biographical thriller film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, is nominated for eight Golden Globes at 81st edition.

The 81st Golden Globe Awards will be taking place on the seventh of January.

The film is nominated for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award, Best Screenplay-Motion Picture Award, and Best Motion Picture.

It is also nominated for Best Original Score- Motion Picture Award.

While actor Cillian Murphy is nominated Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his lead role as J. Robert Oppenheimer.

Robert Downey Jr. is nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture.

Emily Blunt is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture.

Moreover, director Christopher Nolan is nominated for Best Director – Motion Picture.

The movie documents one of the most atrocious crimes in modern history committed by the United States.

The nominations come as the US is assisting in other horrendous crimes committed against humanity in the Gaza Strip at the moment.
