Osama Saleh Reopens Settlement File Among Businessmen

Osama Saleh, minister of investment, said the ministry reopened the settlement file among a number of Egyptian, Arab and foreign businessmen.

Saleh added that the ministry will continue its plan which aims at developing the public sector’s company; elaborating that it will not suspend any company of the sector, or even privatizing the holding companies.

The minister in cooperation with the governmental authorities are supposed to set a memorandum that tackles the prominent problems of public sector’s companies, and finding solutions for them.

He said the authority’s new chairman will be named within days.

On the other context, Saleh said the foreign investment in the Egyptian market in Q1 2012 reached EGP 220 million; describing the number as tenuous and unexpected.
