OTMT Tops Egypt Bourse’s Traded Volumes in Week

In a week, Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding S.A.E. has managed to lead the top ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange, with 440.6 million securities.

OTMT(OTMT.CA on EGX)’s amount of turnovers hit around EGP 647.8 million through last week trading sessions. The stock closed the week at EGP 1.49.

Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA on EGX) ranked second as its volume of trades amounted to 217.5 million securities worth EPG 385.3 million. The stock finished the week at EGP 1.85.

Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) came third reporting a volume of trades of 154.3 million securities worth EGP 313.6 million.

Fourthly, Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 126.2 million securities worth EGP 251.2 million.

Fifthly, Palm Hills Developments (PHDC.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades reached 98.6 million securities worth 392.5 million.

Sixthly, Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA on EGX) recorded a volume of trades reached 76.3 million securities worth EGP 121.7 million.

Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA on EGX) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 59.8 million securities worth EGP 262.5 million.

El Nasr Clothing & Textile (KABO.CA) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 55.7 million securities worth EGP 72.6 million.

Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC.CA) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 53 million securities worth EGP 362.4 million.

At the bottom of the list, Global Telecom Holding (GTH) (GTHE.CA on EGX) (Previously Orascom Telecom Holding S.A.E.) has come tenth recording a volume of trades reached 50.9 million securities worth EGP 244.9 million.
