OTMT Tops Egypt Bourse’s Volumes Traded in Week

In Week, Egypt’s Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding topped the total volumes traded by the ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange, with 158.5 million securities.

OTMT’s (OTMT.CA on EGX) amount of turnovers hit around EGP 200.4 million through last month trading sessions.

The leading real estate developer Amer Group Holding Amer Group’s (AMER.CA on EGX) ranked second as its volume of trades amounted to 123.4 million securities worth EPG 170.4 million.

Palm Hills Development (PHDC.CA) came third reporting a volume of trades of 38.9 million securities worth EGP 163.3 million.

Fourthly, Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 35.2 million securities worth EGP 61.6 million.

Fifthly, Qalaa Holdings (formerly Citadel Capital) (CCAP.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades reached 34.7 million securities worth EGP 141.5 billion.

Sixthly, Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) recorded a volume of trades reached 27.3 million securities worth EGP 52.6 million.

Talaat Moustafa Group (TMGH.CA) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 12.8 million securities worth EGP 119.2 million.

United Arab Shipping (UASG.CA) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 12.5 million securities worth EGP 16.8 million.

Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA on EGX) Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC.CA) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 10.8 million securities worth EGP 19.3 million.

At the bottom of the list, Arab Cotton Ginning (ACGC.CA on EGX) has come tenth recording a volume of trades reached 7.8 million securities worth EGP 40.8 million.
