PBDAC: May-June Micro-Finances Register EGP 11 Mln

The Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit (PBDAC) has offered about EGP 11 billion finances for micro-enterprises during May and June.

The bank is currently offering these finances to four governorates namely; Fayoum, Beni Suef, Qalioubia and El Behira and intends to extend this service to customers in Minya and Sharkia by next week, said Mohsen El Batran, chairman of the bank. The bank has set a strategy to extend this services in two more governorates monthly.

In addition, the bank intends the upcoming period to launch sharia-compliant micro-finances, in which the bank will participate in providing the customers with productive products such as fertilizer, pesticides and animals’ foods, he added.
