Private-sector Banks Registers 84% of Total Loans at End-June – Egypt C.Bank

The private-sector banks have seized 84% of total loans during second quarter ending on 31 March 2014, said the Egyptian Central Bank in a latest report.

In Q1, the private-sector banks captured 83.4% by end of March 2014.

The portfolio of total loans reached around EGP 584.06 billion by end of June 2014, in which the private-sector banks registered EGP 490.6 billion.
