Qandil Expects Tourist Inflow To Be 11.5 Million Annually

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil asserted during his meeting with South Sinai chiefs of tribes that Egypt is completely secure and welcomes tourists from all parts of the world. Travel ban has been lifted from some distinguished tourist markets thanks to security efforts, Qandil said.

He added that the government provided one billion pounds for the development of Sinai alongside the private sector investment.

Qandil added that the government aims at reaching a total number of tourists estimated at 11.5 million by the end of this year, to increase to around 14 million next year.
