Qatar Exchange Hits Three-Day Lower

Qatar Exchange (QE) fell the third day straight Sunday, closing at 8,536.35.

Shares lost across all sectors, as worries over a hard landing of the Chinese economy and an escalation of the Euro zone debt crisis.

Vodafone Qatar (VFQS:QD) gained the most, ending 4.2% higher at QR9.18 ($2.50). Shares of bank Masraf Al Rayan (MARK:QD) finished trading unchanged.

Earlier in the day, the lender said its Board of Directors approved the appointment of Mr. Ahmed Swaleh Abdi Sheikh for the post of Chief Operating Officer, subject to the approval of Qatar Central Bank.
