QNB Continues To Support Qatari Trainees From Labor Ministry

QNB , the largest financial institution in the State of Qatar, and the MENA region, continues to support trainees who have been nominated by Qatar’s Labor Ministry, as part of their joint program that was initially launched during September this year and will now see its first group of young Qatari national graduates. QNB held a graduation ceremony were certificates will be handed out to the program’s graduates.

Through this program, trainees learnt about Qatar National Bank as well as about Basic Banking. Further the Bank taught them about respective banking products and services. It is clear that through this program, QNB is committed to being the leading bank in encouraging and developing young Qatari’s and supporting initiatives that meet the aspirations of the youth.

QNB also taught the trainees about customer services and selling skills. A core part of the program was also team working and communication skills. This is in line with the Bank’s values to constantly be working on building and fostering teamwork.

The top achievers of the program have been offered job opportunities in line with their capabilities and interest. The Bank is committed to training young Qatari nationals but also providing them with jobs, whenever possible. Moreover, the Bank is dedicated to being the institution of choice for employees.

QNB places a big emphasis on social responsibility and continues to contribute and enhance the communities that it operates in.

Mr. Mohamed Al Hajri, the Head of Dispute Resolution at the Ministry of Labor, expressed thanks and appreciation for the efforts done by QNB , stating: “It is a normal thing for QNB , the leading Bank with the innovative solutions. This type of trainings definitely benefits the participants as they receive certificates that support their resumes and more importantly, the top achievers get employed by the Bank. I would like also to congratulate who finished the training successfully.”

In September, QNB signed an agreement with the Ministry of Labor as part of their cooperation to train and develop on banking principles Qatari candidates in the Bank’s Learning & Development facilities. Through the memorandum of understanding, up to 3 batches of 15 candidates will receive training at the QNB Learning and Development Center in Doha, after being nominated by the Ministry
