Egypt’s Redcon Construction Company says it is planning to develop 13 residential buildings in Eastown, a project owned by SODIC, within one year and half.

Redcon acts as the general contractor of Eastown project, located in Fifth Settlement district in New Cairo. It will develop the buildings in addition to some utilities works at cost of 100 million Egyptian pounds ($5.6 million).

Kareem El-Shazly, Tendering Section Head at Redcon’s Civil Works Department, said Sunday Redcom cooperates with some major real estate developers in the local market to execute more administrative, commercial, and housing flagships.

“The company targets doubling its business volume to reach 1.4 billion pounds at the end of the current year,” El-Shazly noted.
