Reported coronavirus cases in Egypt jump by 720 on Tuesday

Egypt reported 720 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, marking the biggest daily rise in infections, bring its total tally to 13,484.

The North African country also reported 14 new fatalities on Tuesday, taking its total to 659 deaths from the coronavirus, according to a health ministry statement. However, the total number of recoveries surged to 3,742 on Tuesday, from 3,440 on Monday, the statement said.
