Royal Insurance Paid EGP 21.4 Mln Compensations In 9 Months

Initial signs showed that Royal Insurance Company paid compensations of EGP 21.4 million in Q1 of FY 2012/2013.

The compulsory car insurance sector paid compensations of EGP 11.240 million, while supplementary car insurance sector paid compensations of EGP 5.496 million at the end of last September.

Fire insurance sector paid compensations of EGP 3.3 million and marine transport insurance sector paid compensations of about EGP 504,000 at the end of last September.

Internal transport sector paid compensations of about EGP 306,900 and the miscellaneous accident insurance sector paid compensations of about EGP 527,000 at the end of Q1.

The Royal Insurance Company paid compensations of EGP 84 million in FY 2011/2012, compared to EGP 60 million in FY 2010/2011, with an increase of 40%.
