Sherif Barakat, head of Egypt’s Samsung Mobile Unit, has asserted that the sales of mobile phone have not been affected by the ongoing political turmoil in the country.
Barakat added in an exclusive to Amwal Ghad, that Samsung did not receive any complaints from the business partnerships regarding the theft acts in the latest period due to the ongoing political and insecurity turmoil.
Barakat said Samsung’s partnerships are seeking to keep the market and continue the sales, noting that Samsung has captured about 43% of mobile phone market in Egypt by the end of the last March.
He has noted that his company is seizing 44.9% from the Arab market, ranking first across Egypt and MENA.
He has confirmed that his company is taking competitive procedures in order to marketing its new products for low-income category throughout double smartphones.
