Saudi Arabia Starts Fight Against Oil Smuggling

Saudi Arabia started a fight against oil smuggling to outside the country, local Al Hayat newspaper reported on Sunday.

As part of the measures adopted by the Supreme Council for Petroleum and Minerals, the authorities would follow up petrol stations, especially those with expired licences, sources told the newspaper.

Also, contractors are instructed to report their financial allocations of each fiscal year.

Saudi Arabia, the second largest country after Russia in raw oil production, offers low oil price for internal consumption to promote the chemical industry in the country.
