SEBA gets 200.000 Feddans in Egypt’s One Million Feddans’ Project

The member firms in the Saudi Egyptian Businessmen Association (SEBA) obtain 200.000 feddans out of the total area of Egypt’s One Million Feddans reclamation project, board member Ahmed Sabry announced on Sunday.

The reclamation of 200.000 fedanns will be with targeted investments worth 30 billion investments Egyptian pounds (around $4 billion).

Sabry added that a delegation of SEBA’s member firms had met with Egyptian Agriculture Minister Adel El Beltagy to discuss the first implementation steps to implant the new million feddans project in the presence of chairmen of 30 Saudi, Emirati, and Egyptian firms.

From his part, Sultan Duweish – member of SEBA’s board of directors – said the meeting encompassed a number of major SEBA member firms such as; Savola, Chipsy for Food Industries, Misr Italia, Arab Authority for Agriculture Investment and Development, Al Dahra Agriculture, Nadec, and others.
