Shesha Gam Negates Any Crisis With North Sinai Governorate

The Turkish company Shesha Gam, specialized in chemical sector, has denied the crisis between the company and the governorate of North Sinai over getting navigation in Bir al-Abed region to inaugurate its factory, which is specialized in soda ash production.

According to the sources, the investment cost of this project is $400 million, and the production processes are expected to start in 2013.

Turkish businessman Zaki Ekinci, Chairman of Turkish-Egyptian Businessmen Association (TUMİAD), has asserted to Amwal Al Ghad that the Egyptian Turkish relations on the level of trade and investments are deep. And he expected that the volume of the Turkish investments to Egypt will amount to $ 10 billion within the coming five years.

The media has mentioned that there is a crisis erupted between the governorate of North Sinai and Shesha Gam Company over getting the navigation in Bir al-Abed region.
