Singapore’s exports continue to grow in Sep. ’24

Singapore’s non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 2.7 per cent year-on-year in September 2024, driven by both electronics and non-electronics sectors, following a strong 10.7 per cent increase in August.

The country’s non-oil re-exports (NORX) rose by 3.4 per cent in September, extending the 4.5 per cent increase in August, with growth driven by electronics exports, even as non-electronics exports declined.

Overall, Singapore’s total trade increased by 0.5 per cent in September, building on the 3.0 per cent growth in August, with both exports and imports contributing to the positive trade balance.
