Sisi approves plan to implement Egypt Forum 2026 recommendations
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has approved an annual plan proposed by the Cabinet to monitor key sectors and public issues affecting citizens, while directing the government to establish clear timelines and performance indicators for implementing the Egypt Forum 2026 recommendations.
Sisi directed the government to publish the directives related to the Forum’s recommendations on its official website, enabling citizens and state institutions to monitor their implementation.
The president also ordered the expansion of youth development programmes at the National Training Academy, the provision of opportunities for children and young people through the Shabab Masr platform, and the organisation of meetings with officials to hear their ideas and aspirations.
His directives also include showcasing the achievements of outstanding and gifted young Egyptians in streets, squares and public places, alongside the previously approved Innovation Nation programme, which focuses on scientific research and gifted individuals.
Sisi further directed the establishment of a sustainable and integrated national system providing artificial intelligence-powered digital services and communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing people, as well as vocational training programmes, suitable employment opportunities and religious awareness services in sign language.
El-Sisi stressed that citizens would remain at the centre of the Forum’s priorities, to translate its outcomes into practical steps and tangible results.
