S.Korea supplies 20 Air-conditioned Trains for Egypt’s Metro Line 1

South Korea will provide Cairo Metro system’s line 1 with 20 air-conditioned trains with total cost of EGP 2.3 billion (US$ 301.6million), Egyptian transport minister Hany Dahy asserted Monday.

The minister made these remarks during reviewing the first air-conditioned subway metro in line one from AlSayeda Zeinab station to Sadat station.

Dahy clarified that Egypt has received the trains in March 2015.

Moreover, the minister has reviewed Sadat station to follow up security procedures and maintenance works on it.
