Sony Launches Photo Album App For Ios And Android

We don’t usually have major handset makers releasing their mobile apps so when that happens, we try to give them some space on IntoMobile. Today we’re talking about the recently released million moments app, which Sony Digital Network Applications (SDNA) made available for and Android users.

It’s an intelligent photo album that makes it easy to create elegantly laid out albums with just a few taps. Or as the official pitch says it: “Give your years of pictures-your growing children, your travels, your favorite moments – a sophisticated presentation. No expertise required!”

million moments will work both with photos stored in your smartphone or Facebook account. Moreover, you can take new pictures from within the app to create a new album automatically. Imported pictures are sorted by date on-the-fly, with one-to-five pictures displayed per page.

Of course, images stored in the application can further be shared with your friends on Facebook by posting a page of an album to the popular social network. Pretty cool, though I’m not sure we need yet another photo album app, no matter how cool it is.
