Special Stamp issued to celebrate New Suez Canal

Egypt has issued Tuesday a new postage stamp of the New Suez Canal Two days before inaugurating it.

The stamp shows the New Suez Canal beside the older historic channel.

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab  has approved the issuing of the new postage stamp in the presence of Communication Minister Khaled Negm and Chairman of the Egyptian Postal Authority Essam el-Sagheer.
