State-run AMOC’s revenues rose to 4.3 billion Egyptian pounds in H1 of FY2016/17

State-owned Alexandria Mineral Oils Company (AMOC) has reported revenues worth 4.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($27.2 million) duing the first half of financial year 2016/2017, up from 2.5 billion pounds a year earlier.

AMOC’s net profits after tax reached 609 million pounds compared to around 188 million pounds during 2016.

The numbers were announced during AMOC’s extraordinary general assembly, which was headed by  Egyptian Oil Minister Tarek El-Molla.
