Suez Canal Received 45 Vessels On Thursday

Suez Canal Authority (SCA) asserted that 45 ships passed through the canal on Thursday at weight of 2.384 million tons.

The daily statement releases by SCA said the number of ships coming from the north direction was 21 ones at weight of 974 thousand tons, while the number of ships coming from the south direction was 24 ones at weight of 1.409 million tons.

The statement added that the biggest ship coming from the north direction is UMMSLAL, affiliated to the Marshall Islands, at weight of 166.000 tons coming from Malta and heading to Qatar. Meanwhile, the biggest ship coming from the south was EUGEN MAERSK, affiliated to Denmark, at weight of 171.000 tons. It was coming from Djibouti and heading to Netherlands.
