Suez Canal Records the Highest Daily Revenue since 25thJan revolution

General First Class Ahmed Fadel –Chairman of Suez Canal Commission –stated that the canal has recorded today the highest daily revenue, since the last year, as it achieved 20 million and 300 thousand dollar (122 million EGP).

He stated also that the Canal witnessed today a new record, regarding the total weight of shipments passing the maritime lane of the canal, as it recorded 3 million and 470 thousand tons.

The total number of vessels passing the canal today from both directions – Northern and Southern- reached 59 vessels, as 29 came from North, and 30 from South, and these vessels included today;  the American aircraft carrier “Enterprise”, along with its fights group, as this carrier was coming from Mediterranean sea to the Arabian Gulf through Red sea.
