Suez Canal Wins €30mn Insurance Policy

Egypt’s Suez Canal Insurance (SCI) will provide insurance cover for one of the contracting companies specialized in the installation of electrical grids and transformers, Engineering Sector Head Moshira Maamoun announced.

This comes after SCI has won an €30 million insurance policy on the contracting company, she noted.

Furthermore, Maamoun also revealed that the insurance policy will cover all the risks of the installation performed by the company in its nationwide projects.

It is a one-year renewable term insurance policy, she added.

In the same vein, Maamoun said she expects a leap in SCI’s Engineering Insurance Division within the upcoming phase.
