Suez Canal wins Egypt Anode’s $30 million insurance policy bid

Egypt’s leading composite insurer, Suez Canal Insurance Company has won a policy bid launched by the country’s coke calciner supplier, Egypt Antode.

Tailored for Egypt Antode’s assets and property, the insurance policy is with total sum insured of $33 million, Ahmed Ezzat Abd El-Azim, Assistant General Manager at Suez Canal Insurance’s Fire and Burglary Department, told Amwal Al Ghad on Monday.

The policy involves coverage against risks arising out of fire, burglary, explosions and natural disasters such as earthquakes, storms, and volcanoes, Abd El-Azim added.
