Suez for Polyester Will Finish Its EGP100 mnl Expansions By 2014

Suez Company for Polyester is about to finish the expansions in its factory at value of EGP 100 million. The company will expand its factor by constructing two production lines to recycle the Polyethylene terephthalate (PET).

Mahmoud Ramadan, Board Chairman of Suez Company for Polyester, told “Amwal Al Ghad” that the first line will be finished by the end of 2013, while the second line will be finished by the end of 2014.

He added that the first line’s expansion will increase the production from 6000 to 30.000 tons every year, and the production will amount to 60.000 tons by finishing the second line.

The factory depends on Egyptian Syrian investments; moreover, there is a negotiation with a number of banks to finance the expansions.
