Supply Ministry offers new plots in 5 governorates in few days

Supply and Internal Trade Ministry is to offer investors new land plots with total investments worth one billion Egyptian pounds soon, state’s Internal Trade Development Authority’s (ITDA) vice president Yasser Abbas said Sunday.

Abbas told Amwal Al Ghad that the land plots will be provided in five governorates: Luxor, Asyut, Beheira, Ismailia and Port Said.

He stated that the lands will be offered after signing the contracts of the logistics zone in Gharbia governorate with the American firm with investments estimated at 800 million Egyptian pounds.

ITDA is waiting for Cabinet’s approval for signing the contracts set to be before the end of August 2015, Abbas said.

The official clarified that the authority is currently making the studies for the set-to-be-offered lands about their spaces and the number of job opportunities they will provide.
