Swiss economy grows in Q2 ’24
Swiss economic output is estimated to have increased by 0.5 per cent in the second quarter of 2024, according to a preliminary release of Switzerland’s quarterly real GDP.
This preliminary data, released around 45 days after the quarter ends, indicates a slight uptick in growth compared to previous periods.
The increase was primarily driven by strong performance in the industrial sector, which “was the main contributor to the slightly above-average growth.” Additionally, the services sector also experienced overall growth, further supporting the positive economic trend.
