Takaful captures 7.6% of total insurance compensations in Egypt

The Egyptian takaful insurance companies have managed to capture 7.6 percent of the total insurance compensations paid throughout the first quarter of 2016.

Total first half compensations recorded 2.6 billion Egyptian pounds ($292.7 million), of which the tafakul firms seized around 199.8 million pounds, a recent report by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) has found.
