Tanzania Officially Requests Egyptian Experts in Smart Villages’ Construction

Eng. Hany Mahmoud, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, stated that the Tanzanian government seeks  Egyptian experts’ aid in the establishment of  smart villages and technological areas.

In his meeting with Makame Mbarawa, Tanzanian Minister for Communication, Science, and Technology, Mahmoud added that they have considered opportunities for cooperation between Egypt and Tanzania in the field of communications and Information Technology, particularly the infrastructure of that sector.

On his part, the Tanzanian Minister pointed out that the aim of his visit to Egypt is to closely discover the new updates employed by Egypt in that sector, in addition to examining the Egyptian story of success in the establishment and management of the Smart Village.

It is worth noting that Tanzania will be launching a smart village and that the President of the Republic of Tanzania strongly supports this project. Whereupon, Tanzania looks forward to holding agreements with Egyptian companies responsible for the Egyptian smart village implementation, given that such companies have a great internationally recognized experience regarding the construction of smart villages and technological areas.
