Tourism Development Authority (TDA) will present the first venture for therapeutic tourism in Egypt, a global healthy resort in Ain Sukhna on an area of a million meters.
Tarek Saad El Din, CEO of TDA, elucidated that it has decided that the project will be presented at the end of September on an area of 1 million meters through auction and sealed envelops, in the framework of TDA’s plan to present 9 million meters for a number of tourism ventures till the end of 2012.
Saad El Din expected that the investment cost will amount to $ 500 million; referring that the venture includes constructing hotels, and a center for operations and researches.
He elaborated that the authority has received a request from some Egyptian investors, live in the US, to construct the venture. They said they want to establish a joint-stock company with Egyptian-American capital in order to construct the resort in Ain Sukhna.
TDA is working on preparing the technical specifications to present venture of international center for conferences in Ain Sukhana, as it is an industrial area and has maritime port, near Cairo, it also near Cairo Airport. All these features make it a distinguished place attracts whopping global companies.
