TE Data’s Fixed-line Internet Market Share in Egypt Hits 64%

Telecom Egypt’s internet arm TE Data is registering around 64 percent in total fixed-line internet market share in Egypt.

In the same vein, Telecom Egypt’s CEO Mohamed El-Nawawy has referred in a press conference on Wednesday to a 24.5 percent increase in the number of subscribers within second quarter compared to the same period a year earlier.

The total number of subscribers in TE Data’s fixed-line internet service in Egypt has reached 1.8 million approximately, with an increase of 75.000 new clients during the second quarter of 2014.
