The Export Development Bank of Egypt retreated by 78.5% in in 6 months

The indications of the Export Development Bank‘s non-retained earnings results showed achieving EGP 29.1 million net profits in the six months, ended on December 31st 2011, compared to EGP 135.9 million in the compared term, meaning it retreated by 78.5%.
The indications of the Bank‘s retained earnings results showed a retreat by 69.5%, reaching EGP 43.6 million , compared to EGP 143.2 million.

The loan portfolio declined by 1.8%, reaching EGP 6.3 billion by the end of December 2011, compared to EGP 6.4 billion by the end of June 2011. Besides, the deposit portfolio fell by 8.9%, reaching EGP 8.9 billion, compared to EGP 9.8 billion.
