Tom Cruise supports Maha Dakhil due to her pro-Palestine posts

Tom Cruise showed support for his agent Maha Dakhil who found herself being relieved of her duties as co-chief of the motion pictures department at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), after she reposted Instagram Stories in support of Palestine.

Cruise met with Maha at her CAA office on November 15. According to a source told the Business Standard that Tom “took the rare step of going in person to show support for his embattled agent.”

Maha, a prominent CAA talent agency agent, came under fire from colleagues last month after she characterised Israel’s assault on Gaza as a “genocide” in a post to Instagram.

Maha is not the only one dividing Hollywood amid the Israel-Hamas war. The Hollywood talent agency UTA dropped Susan Sarandon as a client after she spoke at a pro-Palestine rally recently.
