Tourism In Red Sea Gets Ready For Xmas

General Hatem Mounir, Secretary General of Egyptian Hotels Association in Red Sea, said the tourism and hotel sector witnessed a state of emergency and intensive preparations for Christmas celebration.

He added that the current occupancy rates reach 55%, after the slight rise took place this week on the occasion of Christmas holidays; referring that the reservations are confirmed, besides the hotels and resorts are getting ready for these celebrations, through providing special offers to attract tourists.

Mounir has elaborated that the association hasn’t received so far any notifications about cancelling the reservations. Furthermore, it has coordinated with ETAA (Egyptian Travel Agents Association) and ETA (Egypt Tourism Authority), as well as the director of Hurghada Airport to provide all the possibilities in order to receive the touristic groups and tours.
