Tourism Ministry’s Committee To Travel To KSA Over Pilgrimage Season

The Egyptian Tourism Minister’s committee, which headed by Abdel Aziz Hassan, Chairman of Central Administration of tourism companies, will travel to Saudi Arabia on Friday, September 7th;  to start the preparations of pilgrimage season.

Abdel Aziz Hassan pointed out that the committee will inspect the hotels and residential places, where the pilgrims will stay in Saudi Arabia, and document residential contracts for 1840 tourism companies and 30.000 pilgrims. But the companies have to abide by the residential places which the Saudi authorities will approve, besides having the conditions and specs that suit with the tourism pilgrimage; referring that the utmost allowable distance from the Mekka to the residential place is 120 meters.

The ministry will deliver the passports to the Saudi embassy to get the pilgrimage visas, immediately after inspecting the pilgrims’ residence and documenting the contracts.
