Zazou Participates In 1st Meeting Of EU-Egypt Tourism Summit

The Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Hesham Zazou, is participating in the first meeting of “EU-Egypt Task Force Business and Tourism Summit”, which is holding on November 13-14th. The Egyptian side is represented by the attendance of Hatem Saleh- Minister of Industry and Foreign Trade, and Osama Saleh- Minister of Investment. The European side is represented by Catherine Ashton- High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani- EU commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship, and Michael De Blust, Secretary General ECTAA (European Travel Agents & Tour Operators Association), in addition to a number of European tour agents and tour companies.

The meeting will witness signing the letter of intent over entering into a dialogue in the tourism field.

The meeting will be opened by drawing the curtain on the counterfeit version of Tutankhamen’s tomb by Catherine Ashton, and then keynote speeches by the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Mr. Antonio Tajani.

Mr. Hesham Zazou will give a presentation on the complete development of tourism in Upper Egypt to eliminate poverty and achieve societal development, as well as the development of green tourism and sustainable one.
