Trade Exchange Volume Between Egypt, Algeria Hit $1.25 bln In 2012

The volume of the trade exchange between Egypt and Algeria in 2012 reached $1.258 billion, meanwhile, Algeria achieved $ 968 million trade surplus with the Arab countries.

The Algerian Customs issued a statement today elaborated that the Egyptian exports to Algeria ranked third in 2012; hitting $ 876.51 million, compared to $ 380.56 million imports. The Moroccan exports to Algeria ranked first; achieving $ 1.07 billion in return for $ 281 million imports, followed by Tunisia to record $ 1 billion exports and $ 407 million imports. The KSA is the first exporter to Algeria; hitting $ 467.2 million.
