Trump says supporters after US election ‘mellowed’

President-elect Donald Trump has told his supporters they are “not nearly as vicious or violent” now as they were during the US election campaign.

Mr Trump was speaking at a rally in Florida, as part of his “thank you” tour of US states which switched from Democrat to Republican in the 2016 election.
