TUI Deutschland GmbH Plans to Boost its Investments in Egypt

Michael Frenzel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board TUI Deutschland GmbH and TUIfly GmbH asserted that TUI is planning to boost its investments’ size in Egypt and to inaugurate 4 new hotels in each of Soma Bay, Marsa Alam, Sahl Hasheesh and North Coast.

Frenzel requested during his meeting with the Egyptian Tourism Minister, Hisham Zaazou to start hosting Hurghada city to the summit of the regional council of the World Travel and Tourism at the end of this year or in early January 2015.

He explained that choosing Egypt to hold the summit  underscores the international confidence in the of tourist destination and its ability to overcome any obstacles, stressing his support and his personal support for Cairo , its people and its tourism industry.

He further expressed his hope for the European countries to cancel travel warnings issued by it on Egypt.
