Türkiye recalls ambassador to Israel – ministry

Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Saturday that Turkiye’s ambassador to Israel was recalled “in view of the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza caused by the continuing attacks by Israel against civilians.”

Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan considers the Israeli prime minister to be personally responsible for the growing civilian death toll in Gaza as he has accused Israel of war crimes.

Erdogan added that Türkiye will never abandon Palestinians and will protect them from Israeli oppression, as he suggested stopping the massacres committed in Gaza before the eyes of the world.
