United States market briefing 18/04/2023

The United States market closed low on Tuesday, with the Dow dropping by -0.03 percent to 33,976.63. The index lost 10.55 points, recording a day high value of 34,018.62 and a day low value of 33,791.89.

The NASDAQ fell by -0.04 percent to 12,153.41, losing 4.31 points. It recorded a day high value of 12,245.43 and a day low value of 12,110.23.

S&P 500 rose by 0.09 percent and gained 3.55 points. The index closed at 4,154.87, recording a day high value of 4,169.48 and a day low value of 4,140.36.
