The United States market witnessed a drop on Thursday in the Dow by -0.01 percent to 33,946.71, losing 4.81 points.

S&P 500 inched up by 0.37 percent and gained 16.20 points to close at 4,381.89.

NASDAQ soared by 0.95 percent to 13,630.61, gaining 128.41 points.
