URGENT: Dow losses 1000+ points at opening
US stocks plunged on Monday morning (ET), as the Dow Jones plunged 1072 points, or 2.7 per cent. The S&P 500 fell 4.1 per cent and the Nasdaq Composite dived by a whopping 6.3 per cent.
This followed Friday’s July jobs report which stoked fears that the US economy is on shaky legs.
