The total revenues of Vodafone Global reached around £10.9 billion (US$17.9 billion) during the third quarter of the current fiscal year which ended in December2013.
Vodafone’s financial statements explained that the developing markets of the company witnessed major growth rates which attained 6.1% at the end of the third quarter, registering £3.2 billion revenues.
Vodafone pointed out that the financial statements of revenue services in Egypt rose by 1.1% compared to 0.8% during the second quarter, driven by the lifting of the curfew which applied in Cairo in the last August and September.
Vodafone asserted that Egypt, Qatar, New Zealand, Ghana, Turkey and Australia reached £1.29 billion (EGP17.9 billion).
It further emphasized that the numbers of subscribers in Egypt reached 41.7 billion at the end of last December and the percentage of in advance owners paid up subscription about 89.6% of the total domestic customers.
