Vodafone Sponsors 10 Graduation Projects at “Egyptian Engineering Day”

Vodafone Egypt has sponsored 10 graduation projects presented by students at the faculties of engineering and computer science during the “Egyptian Engineering Day.”

Eng. Hatem Dowidar, CEO of Vodafone Egypt, stated that the company seeks to encourage Egyptian youth to think positively and develop innovative projects that can participate in the advancement of their society. He added that Vodafone also works on eliminating the gap between academic study and industry, in addition to spreading the application of technology in all fields.

In a work session organized by Vodafone, Yasser Rashwan, Vice Chairman of the technological sector at Vodafone, stated that the company has carried out a number of activities in order to minimize the gap between theoretical study and the communications and technology industry. He also pointed out that the company has organized 12 training programs on innovation skills for university students , which were attended by more than 600 trainees.
